Quilt Walk & Online Auction
Every September, Main Street in Placerville comes alive with color and creativity as local merchants proudly display quilts donated by talented area quilters. These stunning works of art are part of Images of Hope El Dorado’s annual quilt fundraiser, which helps support our free healing arts classes for people affected by cancer and trauma. Strolling downtown becomes even more special during this time, with quilts adorning storefronts and a self-guided Walking Tour brochure available at participating businesses.
The highlight of the season is our online quilt auction, running from noon, September 18th to noon, September 28th. Each quilt begins with a minimum opening bid and requires $20 increments for raises. For those who don’t want to wait, a “Buy Now” option allows you to secure a quilt immediately—although it will continue to be displayed downtown until the auction ends.
