2024 Banners on Parade

In 2024, we had a total of 30 banners displayed on Main Street during Images of Hope El Dorado’s Banners on Parade’s 20th year. Of the 2024 banners, 3 were judged 1, 2, and 3 (Bee-Utiful Spring, Summer Garden, Falling Through the Seasons), and 3 were judged as Honorable Mentions (Nature’s Gifts, Twilight in Spring, Aspen Splendor). The theme for 2024 was “Seasonal Splendor”.

We had a “walking-tour” brochure at businesses on Main Street and online for folks to use when walking Main Street.

Our great sponsors in 2024 were Images of Hope El Dorado, ECO Signs & Lighting Maintenance, the City of Placerville, the Geoff Boyd Memorial Artist Award, the Marianne Kalem Legacy Award, the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce, Cuppa Coffee & More, and High Sierra Quilters.

The winners of the Geoff Boyd Memorial Artist Award were:

Bill Robinson for the front of his “One Tropical Season” banner
Mary Bist for the back of her “Spring Awakens” banner

The winner of the Marianne Kalem Legacy Award was Judy Arrigotti for her “Nature’s Gifts” banner.
